Our goal is to guide and support overall student development and well-being in three areas of student life while keeping in mind that the students are developing and building skills and narrowing the focus on their futures. As Christians, we want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to grow in their faith and thrive in a positive atmosphere. As counselors, we believe that it is imperative to truly integrate our faith into the counseling process.
School counselors will provide individual counseling and classroom guidance to enhance student achievement to reach requirements for high school graduation and post secondary success. Through information and by making resources available to research and apply to college, students are able to plan and make decisions about their future. We also provide a foundation for students to understand their interests, abilities and challenges; so that students can develop their personal learning plan for high school graduation and their subsequent career path.
God’s desire is to use people to carry His message of hope in Christ to a searching and hurting world. If there is ever a time for Godly leadership, servanthood and Biblical counsel — it is now. A Christian counselor understands that the Bible is full of practical wisdom about human nature, marriage and family, human suffering, and so much more. By using biblical concepts in counseling, we can instruct students in the way they should go and also hold them accountable. Psalm 119:24 says, "Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors."
We know that the truth, when known, believed, and obeyed, sets people free. When people are set free, they are fulfilling their true calling. "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32).
Our desire is to help students overcome their problems, find meaning and joy in life, and become healthy and well-adjusted individuals, both mentally and emotionally. Students can seek one-on-one help from the school counselor to discuss personal issues, such as family, social or emotional issues, or seek crisis counseling. Our ability to help students deal with the demanding aspects of high school and family life set us apart in Christian education today.

Andrew has seen the power of God set many people free, and he understands how the spiritual realm affects what is seen. In spiritual counseling he targets the root issues that people face and brings them to a place of freedom through the truth that is found in Jesus Christ and in God’s Word.
