MARINE BIOLOGY (36 weeks / 1 credit)
This course is the study of the marine environment (oceanography), marine diversity (survey of plants and animals), and marine ecology.
FINANCIAL PLANNING (18 weeks / 1/2 credit)
This course is designed to teach high school students about money. Utilizing Dave Ramsey's Foundations in Personal Finance this couse will empower students to make sound financial decisions for life by helping students experience interactive learning with a down-to-earth style.
YEARBOOK (36 weeks / 1 credit)
Students will learn how to use photographs and white space effectively in producing the school yearbook. They will also learn what photographs can be used and how to crop and position the subject matter for the best results. As new students, they will also learn how to take digital pictures and make corrections as needed prior to placing them in the yearbook. Writing skills will also be utilized as the students learn how to properly caption photographs and events throughout the book.
MUSIC & DRAMA (18 or 36 weeks)
This course is designed to provide opportunities for students to explore and develop his/her musical/drama potential and to enjoy the aesthetic experiences of music. The choral experience develops a positive self-image through successful experiences in music.

HEALTH (18 weeks / 1/2 credit)
Health issues of vital concern to the well-being of the human body are covered in this course. The following topics are covered: General health and safety, Physical fitness, Nutrition, Health hazards and life-threatening diseases, mental and emotional health, and First aid and emergency health care.
ACT PREP TESTING (18 weeks / 1/2 credit)
The SAT and ACT scores that a student receives play a large part in determining what University a student will be accepted to and whether or not they will receive a scholarship. Taking a prep course helps insure your student will perform better and therefore increases their chances of getting into a good school.
DRIVER'S EDUCATION (18 weeks / 1/2 credit)
The purpose of this course is to provide every teenager the necessary knowledge to operate a vehicle safely on our busy roadways and to ensure the safety of others. The following topics are covered: Your license to Drive, You may lose your license, The Driving Task, The Driver, Signs, signals and road markings, traffic laws, Adjust to Driving Conditions, Driving the Freeways and Your Vehicle. They participate in practical driving on our local roads with the use of a Drivers Education vehicle.
HS PHYSICAL EDUCATION (36 weeks / 1 credit)
HOME ECONOMICS (36 weeks / 1 credit)
Students are instructed in the following areas; basic sewing techniques, home management skills, basic cooking skills, home entertainment etiquette, and serving skills. Students apply all skills with hands-on projects and lessons.
SHOP (36 weeks / 1 credit)
This course teaches an introduction to several mechanical skills including electric, foundations, plumbing, set building, auto mechanics, and home maintenance.
HS ART (36 weeks / 1 credit)
This course is a two semester course. First semeters will consist of drawing with pencil rendering, charcoal, colored pencils, pen & ink, etc. Second semester focuses on painting with mixed mediums (oil, watercolors, etc.)
